Can I undo flattening?
No. Flattening is irreversible — the original interactive fields are removed. Keep a copy of the original if needed.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. All processing is done entirely in your browser using pdf-lib. Your file never leaves your device.
What if my PDF has no form fields?
The tool will still process the file successfully — it just won't have any fields to flatten. The output will be structurally equivalent to the input.
