What Is PDF Bookmarks Viewer?
PDF Bookmarks Viewer reads the outline (table of contents) embedded in a PDF file and displays it as a navigable tree. You can expand sections, see page numbers, and export the entire outline as plain text — all without uploading your file anywhere.
How to Use
- Upload a PDF by clicking the drop zone or dragging a file onto it.
- The bookmark tree will be displayed automatically.
- Click any section to expand or collapse its children.
- Use "Export as Text" to download the outline as a .txt file.

FAQ
What if my PDF has no bookmarks?
The tool will show a message indicating no bookmarks were found. Not all PDFs include an outline.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. All processing is done entirely in your browser using PDF.js. Your file never leaves your device.
Can I edit the bookmarks?
This tool is read-only — it displays and exports existing bookmarks. Editing bookmarks requires a more advanced PDF editor.
