FAQ
Why is the extracted text empty or garbled?
This tool only works with text-based PDFs. Scanned PDFs (images of text) require OCR software to extract text.
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. All processing happens in your browser using PDF.js. Your file is never sent to any server.
Does it preserve formatting?
The tool extracts plain text content. Complex layouts, tables, and columns may not preserve their exact visual structure.
