FAQ

Why are no voices showing?

Voices are loaded from your operating system. On some browsers (especially Chrome on Linux), voices may take a moment to load. Try refreshing the page. On mobile, voices depend on the installed language packs.

Can I download the audio?

The Web Speech API plays audio directly and doesn't provide a way to download it. For downloadable TTS audio, you would need a server-side TTS service.

Is there a text length limit?

The Web Speech API can handle long texts, but very long inputs may be split into chunks by the browser. For best results, keep inputs under a few paragraphs.
