What Is a Tip & Bill Splitter?

FAQ

How is the tip calculated?

Tip = Bill × (tip% / 100). Each person's tip is proportional to their share of the bill. For an even split, everyone pays the same tip amount.

What if custom amounts don't add up to the bill?

If the sum of custom amounts is less than the bill, the remaining balance is split evenly among people with no custom amount. If it exceeds the bill, a warning is shown.

Is tax included?

Enter the pre-tax subtotal for the most accurate tip calculation, or enter the post-tax total if you prefer to tip on the full amount.
