FAQ

Does the tool handle Daylight Saving Time?

Yes. The tool uses the browser's built-in Intl API with IANA timezone names, which automatically accounts for DST transitions.

What does the green dot mean?

A green dot means the current (or selected) time falls within standard business hours — 09:00 to 18:00 — in that timezone.

Can I save my timezone list?

The selected timezones are kept in local React state for the session. Bookmark the page and re-add your preferred zones on return.

Why are some offsets like GMT+5:30?

Some countries (e.g. India, Iran, Nepal) use non-integer UTC offsets with 30- or 45-minute increments, reflecting their geographic position relative to standard meridians.
